Regional Reps Adds Stephen King's Radio Stations
Regional Reps Corp. will handle national sales for the stations: WKIT-FM, WZON-AM and WZON-FM. Regional Reps Corp. has signed an exclusive representation agreement with WVVH-TV in The Hamptons, New York.
In announcing the partnership, WVVH’s Owner and President Ernie Schimizzi said,

Shayna Sharpe Selected for the 2010 "Mildred Carter" MIW Radio Group
Mentoring Program
Shayna Sharpe and two other candidates were selected for the 2010 program. Launched in 2002, this is the ninth year of the mentoring program, which matches up-and-coming women in the radio industry with female professionals who are leaders in all aspects of Radio.
"We had some outstanding candidates," said Heidi Raphael, spokesperson for the MIW Group and Vice President of Corporate Communication at Greater Media, Inc. "We look forward to providing an amazing opportunity for Katerina, Shayna and Kirsten to gain valuable knowledge and access to some of the top women in the field of radio broadcasting through the outstanding MIW Group membership."
The program is named in the memory of Mildred Carter, who, along with her husband, Andrew "Skip" Carter, founded the first African American owned radio station in the U.S. in 1950, when they turned on KPRS Kansas City, Missouri. Mrs. Carter ran the Carter Broadcast Group for many years after the death of Skip Carter, before turning over control of the company to her grandson, Michael Carter, in 1987.

Regional Reps Welcomes Michael F. Kordel, Account Coordinator
Michael Kordel joins Regional Reps as our Account Coordinator. He will be working primarily with the Sales and Account Management teams, as well as with our station and agency clients on account related projects. He is working out of the Cleveland, OH headquarters.
Mike is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University, with a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications. While at Ohio State, Mike had a lot of relevant coursework, including creating a media plan for Coca-Cola, a persuasive media campaign aimed at energy conservation, and a strategic communications plan for the Columbus Parks & Recreation System. Mike was also a varsity swimmer at The Ohio State University.

Guerra Communications is the newest addition to the Regional Reps Corp. Roster
Regional Reps Corp. has signed an exclusive representation agreement with Guerra Communications and their two stations in Laredo, TX.
Regional Reps Corp. will handle national sales for the stations: KRRG-FM and KJBZ-FM. In announcing the partnership, Guerra’s Belinda Guerra said, “I feel so great about this endeavor; I cannot wait to reach our destination.”

Regional Reps Corp. Opens New York Office
Regional Reps will open its newest office -- in New York City -- on Monday, October 5, 2009.
Patrice G. Davidow, a 20-year veteran of Radio sales and station representation, has been named Regional Manager/Northeast. She will join Kirk N. Bogos to expand Regional Reps’ coverage of New York and other east coast markets.
Davidow, most recently vice president of Clear Channel Radio Sales in New York said, "I'm thrilled to be joining the Regional Reps team. The company's reputation for outstanding service and dedication to its clients and customers is well known throughout the industry. It's a great platform for my passion for Radio!"

Regional Reps Corp. Signs Original Station to Contract Renewal
Regional Reps has renewed its agreement with The Findlay Publishing Company, one of the company’s original clients.
Regional Reps Corp. handles national sales for WKXA-FM, WFIN-AM, WCSI-AM, WKKG-FM, WINN-FM, WWWY-FM, WBUK-FM and WRBI-FM. In announcing the renewal, Findlay Publishing Vice President of Broadcast David Glass noted, "Please know this is an affirmation of our commitment, confidence and long-standing appreciation for your work on our behalf."

Regional Reps Corp. welcomes Deb Murphy to the Dallas Office!
Deb Murphy, formerly of D&R, has joined the Regional Reps Corp. Team
as the new Southwest Regional Manager!
Deb brings a wealth of experience
to our company and the Dallas office. Most recently, she spent nearly
13 years with Interep/D&R in Dallas.
Prior to Interep, she sold for WRR Radio, was NSM at KXTX-TV, sold for
TV rep Telerep and was a senior broadcast buyer at a now defunct Dallas
ad agency. With her experience and her extensive contacts at agencies
out west and Radio stations across the country, Deb is sure to be a tremendous
asset to the company.
